Sales Account Executive

What We’re Looking For:

We're now looking for a passionate, driven Sales Account Executive who will focus primarily on an outbound Sales program to inform customers globally on the opportunity of audio as a channel. There is a missing component in the communication stack of companies large and small today, and our belief is that Storyboard will serve as a critical tool to make the workplace more collaborative, innovative, and effective through asynchronous audio.

We'll look for a driven solution seller who will target mid-market and Enterprise-level opportunities where we can deploy Storyboard to transform how teams communicate.

Your primary responsibilities would include sourcing leads of customers who could enhance their communications through Storyboard, build client relationships, develop launch strategies, and act as a point-of-contact as our customers evolve with the software.

Compensation:

As an early Sales hire, this role will include both a base salary as well as a strong commission-focused compensation opportunity, including bonus acceleration for exemplary performance.

Our priority is helping companies solve key use cases through Storyboard, and we'd like to incentivize sellers who can help develop these long-term relationships and drive customer success.

Location:

Storyboard is primarily based in Los Angeles, CA but the ethos of our company is that employees should be able to collaborate and work together from anywhere. As such, this role is open to remote employees. We're looking for talent in any location.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong experience as a Seller with background in outbound work for developing new client relationships, managing pilots, and driving expansion
  • Experience with SaaS or Enterprise software sales
  • Interest in growth as this role at an early stage company will provide many opportunities to help define and drive our Go-to-Market Playbook
  • Demonstrated, repeated success in lead generation, prospecting, running your own demos, contract negotiation, and closing customers
  • Expert level pipeline management
  • Experience using a CRM, Salesforce.com preferred
  • Experience using sales prospecting and enablement tools, Apollo.io preferred
  • Strong experience as a Seller with 2+ years closing experience
  • Background in outbound work for developing new client relationships, managing pilots, and driving expansion
